E-file Warranty

Upon purchase of your File It! Pro or the File It! Luxe, you will have a 1 year manufacturing warranty from the date of purchase.

  • This warranty is limited to the warranty period under normal and recommended use.
  • If the e-file has a manufacturing fault within one year from the date of purchase, your e-file will be repaired or replaced.
  • A refund will not be given, a replacement or repair will be given, whichever is applicable to the fault. This will be determined upon you sending the e-file to us for inspection. If the damage is caused by use as set out below, your warranty will become invalid and you will be responsible for any repairs or replacements, regardless of timeframe.
  • A manufacturing warranty, does not entitle you to a refund.
  • Your warranty is one year from the date of purchase, and is not extended following repair or replacement.
  • You must provide us with proof of purchase to validate the warranty. Order number, name and date of purchase.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The following will invalidate your warranty and a replacement or repair will be your responsibility:

  • Unauthorised maintenance, dismantling, misuse, damage, drops, knocks, liquids including the use of wet wipes, acetone, antibacterial wipes and any modifications.
  • Any issues that arise from improper use and not following the care instructions in the manual provided.
  • The serial/batch number or any other certification has been altered.
  • The e-file is not used and maintained in accordance to the manufacturers instructions.
  • Damage caused by force majeure but not limited to flood, fire, lightening.
  • Theft or loss.
  • Cannot prove purchase.
  • Has been purchased second hand or third party.

Maintenance & upkeep of your e-file is important. We recommend reading the user guide/manual that comes with your purchase carefully but also please take note of the following advice to ensure your e-file remains within warranty for the full 12m duration.

  • DO NOT switch rotation between FWD/REV whilst rotation is in motion. Slow down rotation to zero or pause rotation first
  • DO NOT drop or bang your e-file.
  • DO NOT spill liquid on your e-file.
  • DO NOT start rotation without securely locking the bit lock
  • DO NOT start rotation without a bit securely fastened in the hand piece.
  • DO NOT use any other power cable other than the one provided with your e-file. And, if you use an adapter, please make sure that the adapter is suitable
  • DO NOT use alcohol, acetone or any other liquid based products to wipe the front panel of your e-file as this can damage the surface of the machine and the button symbols.
