Preparation:

1. Sanitise your hands and nails.
2. Using a cuticle pusher, remove all cuticle and non-living tissue from the nail plate. 
3. File your nails short and shape them. 
4. Gently remove the shine from the nail plate.
5. Remove all dirt, dust and debris from the nail plate.
6. Apply Prep It! X to cleanse and dehydrate the nail.
7. Now you need to size up all ten of your nails. Make sure the tips cover both sides of each nail. You can press a nail tip on your nail and to see if it covers both sides.
8. Etch the underside of the S oft gel cover tip or Brush a thin coat of Bond It! to the underside of all ten nails. Lay them down in order of application, curved side up on the table so you can easily pick them up.
9. Apply Bond It! to all 10 of your prepped natural nails.
10. Apply a thin “scrub in” layer of Flex It! Universal base to all 10 nails and cure for 60secs. 

 Application:

1. Put a small bead of your chosen Flex It! Colour on the underside of the soft gel tip where it comes into contact with your nails. Scrape your brush against the round edge. Depending on  each nail, you would use more of this gel or less. Your little finger will need the least and your thumb will need the most.
2. Attach the soft gel tip to the nail. You start by placing the round edge of the tip next to your cuticle line so that it will be close but ensure it does not touch the skin.
3. Lightly press down the tip starting from the cuticle to the free edge to push out the air between your nail and the tip. You will be able to tell if you have enough gel or not. If it is too little, add a very tiny bead. If it is too much, remove some by scraping the excess off with a clean prep wand or similar.
4. You can do this because gel will not cure without being placed into the UV/LED lamp
5. Now you can start to press the tip down harder.
6. Visually check whether the gel spreads uniformly on the whole nail surface.
7. When you are happy with your placement, keep pressing the nail tip down on the nail.
8. Do this for all five nails on one hand and then cure them for 60secs in the UV/LED Lamp.
9. Repeat this on the other hand. *remember if there is any excess gel, you must remove this before curing
10. Using a 100/180 buffer, gently refine the cuticle are and remove the shine from all the tips ready for gel polish or art application. 
11. Clean all dust, dirt and debris from the nails.
12. You can finish soft gel tips with any gel colour product or normal nail varnish.
